With smart homes being in demand, smart appliances like robot cleaners have redefined home cleaning completely.  Since the early 1990s they have undergone continuous development from just being a vacuum cleaner cleaning and removing dust to an AI-supported home cleaning device! It is expected that these devices can conduct self-cleaning of their dust bins and brushes, set the dust suction rate as per the requirement, and also adjust the functions as per the presence of allergens and dust in the room. This is going to revolutionize the home cleaning regimes. 

IoT Integration and Beyond

Further possibilities of the Internet of Things (IoT) with the Robot Vacuum cleaner is going to open many more doors to advancement. The visionaries are working towards various applications like exploring the ability of vacuum robots to interact with other smart devices in the home, their ability to contribute to energy management, or possibilities about their working in sync with other appliances to enhance household efficiency.

With being just a device for dust cleaning, Vacuum robots are now AI-driven, highly sophisticated programmed devices that are now an integral part of our lifestyle. Their evolution and current integration with smart devices in our homes are paving the path to a better, automized, convenient home management intelligence. Till these devices are loaded with more and more Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT) they will continue to evolve into being Smart Home Managers!
